UI/UX design & branding
UI/UX design and brand identity
Good design is more than looks: it makes your offer easy to understand and your interface easy to use. We create consistent brand identities and tested interfaces, from user research to a design system handed off to developers.
UI/UX design and branding at a glance
User interface (UI) design defines how a website or app looks; user experience (UX) defines how easy it is to use. Together, they determine whether visitors understand your offer and take action. Vortech-X designs clear, accessible interfaces that are tested before development.
Branding covers everything that makes your business recognizable: logo, colors, typefaces, tone of voice and usage rules. A consistent identity builds trust and carries over easily to your website, apps, social media and printed materials.
We work in Figma, with mockups and clickable prototypes shared with you. Components are designed together with the development team, so the final product faithfully matches the approved designs.

A logo only, or a complete visual identity?
A logo is the starting point of a brand, but it is not always enough to keep your communication consistent.
| Criterion | Logo only | Complete visual identity |
|---|---|---|
| Contents | A logo and a few variations | Logo, colors, typefaces, iconography and usage rules |
| Consistency across materials | Rebuilt for every new material | Ensured by the brand guidelines |
| Team autonomy | Limited | Teams apply the rules without going back to a designer |
| Investment | Lower upfront | Higher, spread across all your materials |
| Best for | Quick launch, test project | A business getting established or repositioning |
A logo alone can be enough to get started. As soon as you communicate across several channels, a complete identity prevents inconsistencies and saves time on every new piece.
How much does a design project cost?
We quote each project after a free conversation. The price mainly depends on the following factors.
Scope
A logo, a full identity, website mockups or a complete app design: the workload varies widely.
Screens and materials
Each additional screen or material requires design work and variations.
User research
Interviews and user testing take time, but reduce risk.
Creative directions
Exploring several directions before choosing requires more creative time.
Deliverables
Detailed guidelines, a documented design system or animations are deliverables in their own right.

Frequently asked questions
What does a brand identity include?
A logo and its variations, a color palette, typefaces, usage rules and application examples, all gathered in brand guidelines.
Can I test the app before it is developed?
Yes. We build a clickable Figma prototype so you and your users can validate the flows before any code is written.
What is the difference between UI and UX?
UX (user experience) is about logic: user flows, information structure, how easily a task gets done. UI (user interface) is about appearance: colors, typefaces, buttons, icons. A good interface combines both: pleasant to look at and simple to use.
Which files will I receive?
The source files (Figma, Illustrator), the logo in vector and image formats for web and print, and the brand guidelines as a PDF. For an interface, you receive the mockups, the prototype and the component library.
Can you modernize our existing logo?
Yes. A redesign can evolve the logo gently to keep the recognition you have built, or start from a new base if your positioning has changed. We discuss it based on your current logo and your goals.
Is the design accessible?
We apply WCAG best practices from the start: sufficient contrast, readable text, comfortable tap targets and visible focus states. These rules are passed on to developers so they are respected during implementation.
Do you work with our development team?
Yes. We deliver documented mockups and components in Figma and remain available during implementation, whether development is done by Vortech-X or by your own team.
